Vinegar Hill Youth Theatre is pleased to announce that open auditions for young girls for the principal role of Annie and the supporting roles of The Orphans in ANNIE will be held at the Arundel Barn Playhouse, 53 Old Post Rd., Arundel on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 10 am to 12 pm and again from 2 pm to 4 pm.  

Kevin Corbett and Ben McCarthy, Vinegar Hill Youth Theatre Coordinators, will conduct auditions.  Open auditions indicates that girls will be auditioned in the order they arrive.  No specific appointments are needed 

Young girls should be grade 3 or older OR able to read a script, strong vocalists, and no taller than 5 feet 3 inches.  Girls should be prepared to sing any favorite song acapella and to read from a script provided.  Parents should accompany girls and may sit in the rear of the theatre during auditions.   

Rehearsals for ANNIE are scheduled between the hours of 9 and 5 pm from July 5 through July 20.  Performances are from July 20 thru July 31.  See Arundel’s website for specific performances times. www.arundelbarnplayhouse.com#
